Hello, I’m Sally Dwyer!

 

For 32 years I’ve been the costume shop manager and a lecturer in the theater department at a major university; and a freelance costume and theatrical makeup designer with over 35 years experience working with professional, academic and community theater organizations.

 

In 2004 I began face and body painting at a friend’s suggestion, and I have fallen in love with this amazing art form!  No longer back stage, I now entertain at many functions including birthday, graduation and corporate parties, store openings, sporting events, mitzvahs, spiritual retreats and conferences, church functions, school and community festivals, fairs, fundraisers and bizarres, haunted houses, block parties, city-wide celebrations, wedding showers and receptions and baby showers.  You name it, I’ve probably done it!

 

I have attended several international face and body art conventions and have studied with Internationally recognized experts in the field.  I have participated in international body painting competitions and have performed for guests from California to New England.

Offerings: In addition to face and body painting, I offer glitter and mica tattoos, natural henna art, painted body jewelry and temporary tribal style tattoos using body illustrator inks.
